Picos house near train station, owner Carlos waiting at station easy. Room spacious, view of neighbor's house. Terrace being renovated, cold in spring breakfast. Owner very kind, helped with transport and storing bags for Machu Picchu. Place new and clean. Room has own bathroom, good bed and pillows. Beds comfortable, top view amazing! Breakfast tasty but small. Carlos recommended guide Fredy for Machu Picchu—very good! Rooftop view breathtaking, worth the climb. Helpful lady at desk, nothing too much trouble. Hotel feels personal with owner available all the time; modern rooms; best part is rooftop view over town and valley—great to relax with wine in evening
